MBA(Tech)..Gujju Perspective....!!!

Since last four years...am seeing this famous war between MBA(Tech) and B-Tech....
which is surely going to continue....

Not only that...but have seen MBA Techs criticizing MBA Tech...and B Techs criticizing B Tech....

New comers ...poor souls wandering near the college seeking seniors advice about the course...

Some say brilliant course..."JOIN KARLE"...(MAIN MARAA...TOH TU KYUN BACHEGA)
Some giving genuine advice..."RUN AWAY FROM SOMETHING WHICH STARTS WITH MUKESH"...."Not only reliance is CHOR....but even this COLLEGE is BIG CHOR"...(MORAL : Mukesh is a tag for cheats)

But what has all this to do with a GUJJU....

GUJJU means MUNAFA...PROFIT>>>>>>

So why would a GUJJU come to MBA (Tech)....

Here goes some of his arguments....

If I had two options...one is B Tech (with donation for a good college) or else B Tech from a normal college....(NOT NMIMS for sure....you know waste of money.... will explain...)

Second option is MBA (Tech)..."Heard its a new course from NMIMS!!!!" (Still a new course...lol)

Now Considering the finances...

Option 1:

Donation Amount: 6 Lacs in Average
Fees: 50,000 in average
Total College Expenditure: 2+ 6 Lacs

Studying for NMAT/CAT: Rs 20k to Rs 1L
Admission into NMIMS: 10 Lacs (future value)

Total would range between... Rs 12.5 L to Rs 17L

After this
Placement Offer : Rs 8L to Rs12L
Zero Work Ex

Option 2:
MBA (TECH)

Fees: Rs 2L p.y.
Total : Rs 10L

Placement Offer: Rs 6L to Rs 9L
+
1 Year Job (Work Ex)
Salary : Rs 8L to Rs 12L

Benefits:

Internship at good places!!!
Savings of Rs 2 Lac...No risk of not getting a good institute for MBA..even NMIMS can be difficult to get in...Plus 1 year of work ex!!!!....

Starting Post of a Manager....not one of those lacs of Btechs...who dont gor for MBA...and gets lost in crowd...unless they have something extra extra ordinary in them...which everyone feels they have in them!!!

FINAL DECISION:
GO FOR MBA(Tech).... :-)

P.S.
Obviously not considering option 3 of doing engineering from NMIMS....
otherwise cost would rise to Rs 8L to 17L only for BTech...making it to a total of Rs 19L to Rs 26L

  4. kya bkk hain ..?
u ppl don't know anything abt mbatech ????
ask ur senior specially ppl which r in very first batch of mba tech ..
hardly few ppl got placed ,,,through colz ,,,with avg pacakage of 2.5 lac...
    & abt u r calculation regaring fee ..
y u forget calculation of compund interest on the per annum fee of 2 lacs ,,,if u calculate tht ,,with minimum interest of 10% it would be more than ,,,17 lac ,,,
and regarding degree... everybody know the locha on the name of two degree ,,
u ppl vl know when u vl get ...
mkt repo of course is very poor ,,,no mba or no btech ,,,
avg life of human being is 60 year ,,,,
if u did btech ...& then do mba from sum gud colz ,,,then u only invest one more year in compare of mbatech ,,,,but tht advantage vl be more than tht ...
moral of story abt MBA Tech
CHUTIYA BANAYA BDA MAJJA AYYA ,,,

  5. according to my point of view ...do btech first from sum gud colz ,,,then try for cat ..
as v all know tht gov has opened 15 new IIM & 8 new IIT ....
so make decision ...not calculating by Net present value ,,,but by tht future value ..

    All the best !!!!!
    enjoy

  6. Dude you definitely seem offended...must be doing B-Tech from NMIMS...
Thats is why you dont know finances...
if compound interest is to be considered then do it for both the options...not one...
plus ur facts are like your loose mind....
listening to rumours is not the solution....
get ur facts cleared ...(avg Package)
2.5 toh Btech ko bhi nahin milta...lol...made a fool of urself....seeing the comment it only proves that you are out of your mind....and just writing out of emotions...need to grow up a bit...Market Repo Btech ka kaunsa accha hain...and it takes time to build a brand...when u will do MBA(from ur good university) you will learn this....
P.S. : Sprite piyo.... Sidhi Baat Baki Sab Bakwaas...

and to Anonymous2: it is anytime better to do Btech from IIT, have work ex and then MBA from IIM....but think about common people...then Kushal is right...!!!

  7. So Mr. Kushal seems to be tracking IPs and the people online. Anyways coming to the issue.....I would suggest MBA(Tech) course for those whose ancestors have well settled business or firms and they merely need a degree for social status( The generation of Gujjus seen so far only respect money...... values hardly matter). The more money you have the more they respect you for the same......

  8. It seems Mr. Kushal is tracking people who are visiting his blog....Back to the issue, in my opinion I would recommend MBA(Tech) for those whose ancestors have set-up or rather established businesses and they only need a degree for social status. The generations of Gujjus observed so far to a great extent have respect only for the money one has...values hardly matter to them.

    ReplyDelete
  9. Its all because of this mentality of people like these that degrees are being weighed in terms of money and not the knowledge or opportunities generated

    ReplyDelete
  10. Different People Different opinions!!!
Some Gujju go for money...some go for value...

Anyways love to see various opinions!!!

    Cheers!!!

    ReplyDelete
  11. Ones who talks about the knowledge or opportunities...should be reminded gujjus are one of the most knowledgeable ppl...they understand value for money...not only money...thts the difference...which people do not understand...and by doing MBA Tech no one is stoping you from gaining knowledge....ppl do gain...gujjus always find their way....they make maximum out of anything....they know value for money...which most dont!!!

  12. Haan yaar...Kohli is the inspiration!!!

  13. u shut up ..
i m not taking side either of mbatech or btech ..being super senior i know both the course are fuc......
when u hv dean like Mr garg ,,,who don't know anything ,, specially how to communicate with ppl ..& placement officer like DP ( Chu,,)

    y u ppl compromise ...????
    y u don't try 4 best ..
by chance if u didn;t get admission in sum gud btech ( engg) colz ,,,
then atleast try for doing the MBA from best colz
& regarding my calculation i forget to mention one more thing ,,
one year ka expenditure on one student in city like mumbai ( Food + hostel+ books + & so many other things) approximately 1.5 lac now multiply it by 5 it become 7.5 lac ,,,now total investment or say expenditure 17 lac + 7.5 Lac = 24.5 lacs ..tht is very huge amount ...in tht amount u can do anything ..but in case of IIM , XLRI ..evrything included in fee only no hidden charges ...like mpstme

hope now u hv understand enough ,,,

& REGARDING GUJJU , GUJJU ARE WORSE PPL IN THE WORLD ,,,,THEIR COMMUNITY ITSELF PROVE THT

    GUJJU = GU + JU ....

& I hope u know the mean of gu or ju both

    ReplyDelete
  14. Exceptions are always there...I think you are one of those...in this case a bad exception...
    and an idiot too...
if you are counting the expenditure of other things...it always hokds true for any one studying in mumbai...
of course doing MBA from IIM wud be any time better...but dude just compare it with doing MBA from institute like NMIMS...and agreed tht the Management is a suck-up...but in long run...if you have done something useful in ur MBA tech career....then believe me these things wont matter....talking about gujju...ppl always criticize those, whom they are afraid of...they have a major role in Indian Economy..no one can deny that..a respectable community it is...and u by talking in this manner have degraded your community only...by the way I like the way you explained gujju = gu + ju...it just shows your immaturity...!!! Grow Up!! Super Senior!!!

  15. funny article dude
some ppl seem to be taking it very seriously
... u have some quite frustrated and racist friends

    ReplyDelete
  16. Lol...They could be our friends also!!! u never know...this anonymous thing is quite funny...

    Ur articles r too good!!!

    mast marta hai tu sabki....

  17. ok ,,if u ppl don't hv trust on my words regarding ..gujju & MBA tech ...
do one thing u ppl invite all of ur Seniors ( Alumni // & i promise all vl come & they vl share their exp with u as ,,now they hv work ex of more than one year ,,,they vl tellu wht exactly the position of mba tech in mkt ..
most of them are planning for doing the mba again ...thts why many ppl hv already left their jobs...

    & regarding my comment on gujju ,,,,i say sorry ..i don't wanna do tht ( but as u r only praising gujju) .. u gujju r ,,,
    leave tht
u ppl hv to understand tht no body is gud or no body is bad ...one hv to prove wht exactly he /she is ...

sumbody talking abt my maturity ..
    for u pappu ,,,,
    i know u r gujju ,,
after one year u vl know everything ...colz ke bahar sutta marne se ,,,,koi mature nahi ho jata ...

gujju can start business ,,but they cann't run
    for example ,,MPSTME..
there is not a single professor which is gujju ,,( during our time )..
yes it is true it was started by aanguta chap mukesh & amrish patel .....

    bccho ,,,bde ho jayooooooooo

  18. Nice post Kushal,,,I agree wid MBA-Tech thing completely,,,,but I think that even other people are there like me who are not Gujju but accept this course,,,,,Gujjus are the best businessmen in the world but remember that they have always got support of their family from beginning to do business,,,,,its just that other communities didnt get that support,,,,,n plz dont be bias to any community,,,,,,everyone is good and anyone can do business if one can materialize on an idea,,,,,everyone has same brain,,,only thing which differs is the use of that brain

Anyways good post but plz dont make our B-Tech bhai log angry,,,,,i know its for humour but some may not take it that way !

  19. @anonymous:

there r gujju profs in coll.. n pintu shah (for eg) has being there since 2004.. so i m sure he was around since ur time, no matter how senior u were..

n if u had pathetic packages, its not college's fault alone.. u shud consider that
    1. a new course takes some time for market acceptance..
    2. u shud never forget the great "Recession" which unfortunately happened when d first batch was comin out..
    3. no offence dude, but the first batch was really pathetic.. except for a few intelligent fellas, rest of them were all leftovers.. who didnt get admission anywhere else. n their fathers had enuf money so they came to MBA Tech..

now u shud consider another point.. ask the people of the MBA Tech Class of 2010. finance people who got placed in UBI at scale 2.. their package is same as the IIMs.. ya u heard me right... equivalent to IIM.. in 12+5.. u think u wud have been able to do tht anywhere else??

    ReplyDelete
  20. Ya very true!!! Brilliant!!!

    ReplyDelete
  21. I myself was recruited by UBI and feel deceived by the profile and package offered by UBI.

They had promised us Scale-2 and above and a package of around 5-6lakh but I along with my few other batchmates were duped by them into accepting offer in scale-1 and a measly package of 2.5 lakh.adding to that they have made us sign a bind to work with them for min. period of 3 years or pay 2lakh if the bond is breached.
i am totally devastated by the offer and I wish truth about UBI be told to everyone about how they are cheating fresh B-school graduates.

  22. MBA(Tech.) is a better option if you are not able to crack CAT for getting into IIM'S(where rankers only get admission) and XAT for XLRI and GMAT for ISB. Competition is increasing these days a lot....

Also getting into MDI NMIMS(SBM) JBIMS(top 40 rank) SPJIMR(where rankers only get admission) NITIE SJSOM and many more MBA colleges who avg or median is more than 9lpa. MBA(Tech.) gives you a start somewhere around 8lpa but the +point is the companies....

Very few B-Schools get these type of companies for placements like JPMorgan McKinsey Goldman Sachs Ernst&Young Deloitte PricewaterhouseCoopers Directi Microsoft ACNielson Google Nomura FutureGroup and many more....

If you get a chance in a big MNC's den if you prove yourself better there den definately you will have a bright career...

Suppose you do Engineering in Mumbai den your 4-yr fees would be around 4-4.50 lakhs(if u do in colleges like DJSanghvi, KJSomaiya, Thadomal, Thakur) and then you do MBA let say from an upcoming IIM (not IIM BLACKI). So that MBA would cost around after 4 years from now min 15lakhs. So in total it would be around 19-20 Lakhs. At the end you get a salary of 11-13lpa....

So if you do MBA(Tech.) from NMIMS which cost around 11.50 Lakhs (for 5yrs) and since this course is increasing demand (avg in 2010 was 5.60 and 2011 is 7.0) you can get a job around 9-9.50lpa (in 2016) and it will definately gonna increase as this is your fresher salary..

So MBA(Tech.) is not at par to IIM'S definately but suppose you dont get admission into these colleges (all IIM'S, XLRI, ISB, JBIMS, FMS, IIT'S(MBA-DMS), MDI, NMIMS(SBM), NITIE, IIFT, TISS, IISc(MBA-DMS), Symbiosis(SIBM(Pune),SCMHRD,SIMS), SIMSREE, IMI, GreatLakes, GIM, TAPMI, IMT(Ghaziabad)) then definately this is the better option

    ReplyDelete
  23. Going to join mba tech at mpstme. So finally should i join this course? Is it worth 14.5 lac? What about the placements?
